A private pilot rating is the starting point for helicopter flight. It is intended for those interested in becoming a hobby pilot, considering a future career in aviation, or someone who wants to fly for personal business.
A commercial rating is the minimum rating required to receive compensation for flying. Holding a current private rating is a prerequisite; as well as 35 hours PIC in a helicopter.
This instructional path is for pilots who would like to add rotorcraft to their current (typically fixed wing) rating.
Bi-annual flight reviews may be conducted in our Hughes 300 and will include at least 1 hour of ground time and 1 hour of flight time, as required by regulations.
